Editorial Services
I offer editorial services for any stage of the writing process, from developmental suggestions to manuscript polishing. For lengthier projects, we can schedule a complimentary 30-minute consultation to discuss your goals and determine if I’m a good fit to meet your editorial needs. Feel free to peruse my rates and services. If your project falls outside the scope of what’s offered, please query via the submission form below explaining a little more about what you’re looking for. If my standard rates are a financial barrier, I’ll do my best to adjust services via a sliding-scale on a case-by-case basis.

“During my time at Chestnut Review, Daniel distinguished himself with the quality of his paid feedback. He offers constructive and non-judgmental guidance, with a talent for working with writers at every level. One of Daniel’s strengths is his ability to find moments or images that are in tension with the larger theme or narrative and then providing concrete and grounded advice for how to explore that tension in revision. I wholeheartedly recommend Daniel and know that his clients will find value in his work!”
~ B. Luke Wilson (Chestnut Review Poetry Editor)
"A good editor is thoughtful and thorough; a great editor is thoughtful and thorough in visionary ways. Daniel Lurie is absolutely the latter. He not only left thorough comments at multiple levels of my chapbook manuscript but also orchestrated them to provide clarity on where it stood and where it could go. It was a pleasure working with Daniel, and I absolutely will be doing so again!"
~ Thom C. Addington
